How To Open Your Mind To New Ideas

This morning, I watched as my husband looked over some items on one of the shelves in my office.  He noticed a particular item and commented on it.  Then I said to him, “Do you see Don Quixote there with one of his arms missing?  But, that doesn’t matter to him. Don Quixote does not need two arms.  He can fight windmills with one single arm.”  We chuckled at that possibility.  My husband responded, “He probably doesn’t even need a windmill with his sort of imagination.”

Where Are You Headed?

Many times when I am driving to a place where I’ve never been before, I find myself getting lost and having to turn around a few times before I reach my destination.  Despite GPS and MapQuest, I prefer to do it my way.  That way, of course, is to get lost.
